One injured in two-car crash

GAINESVILLE - A Hall County sheriff's deputy escaped injury Thursday morning when a car pulled into the path of his patrol car on Cleveland Highway but the driver of that was injured.

However, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The deputy was on routine patrol at the time of the crash about 7:30 at the River North Drive intersection.
