Three CPAs at Rushton & Company Earn Financial Forensics Certification

GAINESVILLE-Rushton & Company's Chris Hollifield, John Holden and Clay Pilgrim have received their certification in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Their certification is based upon expertise in forensic accounting through demonstrating knowledge, skills, and experience.

The Certified in Financial Forensics certification encompasses fundamental and specialized forensic accounting skills that CPA practitioners apply in a variety of service areas, including: bankruptcy, insolvency and reorganization, computer forensic analysis, economic damages calculations, family law, fraud prevention, detection and response, financial statement misrepresentation and valuations.

Hollifield is an Audit Partner with Rushton & Company and manages audits for governments and non-profit groups. Both Holden and Pilgrim are Audit Managers and Certified Fraud Examiners. Holden also serves at the firm's Director of Quality Control.
