The Georgia Department of Transportation said re-paving work near North Hall High School and Middle School and Mount Vernon Elementary will not begin Monday, August 17. The first Hall County road project funded by federal stimulus money has been postponed for a second time, according to DOT spokesperson Teri Pope.
Repaving originally was to have started August 10, the first day of school for the Hall County School System.
The work may start August 24, but that date is tentative, according to Pope.
