GAINESVILLE - The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce is hosting a discussion next week on a particularly hot-button topic: healthcare reform but the venue has been charged because of what officials say has been an "overwhelming response and the need for more space."

Congressman Nathan Deal and Congressman Phil Gingrey, a physician, are expected to attend the meeting Aug. 12.

"They're going to tell us what the real story is, what's going on in Washington," said Chamber President Kit Dunlap.

Dunlap says the discussion is open to chamber members and the general public.

"There is no charge because this issue is on everybody's mind," she said.

Dunlap said reservations are required.

The discussion will be held between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center. It was originally planned for the Walters Auditorium at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
