ATLANTA - Federal health officials have confirmed two more cases of swine flu in Georgia.

Dr. Elizabeth Ford, head of the state Division of Public Health, said Tuesday that a 3-year-old boy from Cobb County and a 36-year-old pregnant woman from DeKalb County have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

Ford said the toddler has a family member living in his house who recently traveled to Mexico. She said all members of the family are displaying flu-like symptoms and have been treated with anti-viral drugs, including a 2-month-old child and a 2-year-old child.

State health officials are unsure how the DeKalb County woman contracted the virus. Ford said the woman, her husband and 8-year-old child have all declined anti-viral drugs.

Ford said both families are on voluntary quarantine at their homes.
