AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn fans might have to wait until the kickoff Saturday night against Louisiana-Monroe to learn who won the starting job at quarterback.

Coach Tommy Tuberville said Tuesday that the battle between Kodi Burns and Chris Todd is going down to the wire. Both are expected to play Saturday night.

Burns and Todd said they haven't heard when they'll be told of the verdict.

Tuberville also gave some noteworthy updates on players. Junior college transfer Raven Gray will be redshirted at defensive end because he hasn't recovered quickly enough from knee surgery. Receiver Montez Billings and offensive lineman Chaz Ramsey won't play in the game because of injuries.

Ramsey could be redshirted after having back surgery.

Former starting receiver Robert Dunn is listed as a fourth-teamer.
