Forsyth Co. teacher in an elite national group

CUMMING - A Forsyth County school teacher finds herself in an elite group of peers from around the country.<br /> <br /> Donna Governor is one of only 99 educators that will receive the annual Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. <br /> <br /> Governor teaches science at Liberty Middle School in Cumming. <br /> <br /> The teachers will be recognized by the National Science Foundation at an awards ceremony as the nation's best 7-12 grade teachers. The award comes with a $10,000 cash prize and an all-expense paid trip for two to Washington, D.C, for the awards ceremony.
