Lanier could get more ramp improvements thanks to Go-Fish

GAINESVILLE - Just a few days after learning Laurel Park on Lake Lanier will be getting an extended boat ramp as part of Gov. Perdue's Go-Fish initiative, we now learn the two more ramps are likely to get improvement.

An announcement will be made later this week to add five more ramps in Georgia to the list of ramps announced Friday, and Hall County spokesman Barry Wood says two of those may be on Lanier.

The ramps are being extended to make Georgia lakes more inviting to professional fishing tournaments
