Looking for information on arson fires

GAINESVILLE - Hall County arson investigators have begun canvassing the Black and Cooley drive areas - seeking information into two arson fires in a the remains of a demolished house.

Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle says the Black Drive neighborhood deserves to see justice in this case. "The community on Black Drive has done such a tremendous job cleaning up their community and their neighborhood."

Cagle says the goal is simple: "Nip it in the bud so to speak or head them off at the pass.

The fires occurred about eight hours a part Monday morning on Black Drive in a crime-ridden part of south Gainesville targeted by county commissioners a year ago for revitalization.
