Accidents injure pedestrian, three others

GAINESVILLE - The man hit by a car on the southside of Gainesville Thursday morning is in satisfactory condition and three other people are recovering from injuries, some serious, suffered in a two-vehicle crash on the westside a few hours later.

William Devone Wilson was struck on College Avenue near E.E. Butler Parkway. He's hospitalized at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The westside accident occurred on Shallowford Road near Skelton Road. One of the injured was taken to an Atlanta hospital, the others to the medical center.
