NGCSU employee arrested on drug charges

DAHLONEGA - An employee at North Georgia College & State University is facing drug charges.

The Appalachian Drug Task Force says Ruth Belk Smith was arrested following an investigation involving several agencies, including university police.

Smith is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

She reportedly was found in possesion of about five ounces of pot when she was arrested.
