Jones named to ag hall of fame

GAINESVILLE - A longtime Hall County farmer was chosen for the Hall County Agriculture Hall of Fame Wednesday at the annual Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Awards Breakfast.<br> <br> Dean Jones is a lifetime farmer in Hall County and a longtime member of the county Farm Bureau board.<br> <br> Also at the meeting, B&F Concrete was named Agribusiness of the Year; Peckerwood Farms, a poultry and beef cattle farm located in East Hall, Farmer of the Year; and, Johnny Sutton, ag teacher and FFA advisor at North Hall High, Friend of Agriculture.<br> <br> Savannah Ledford, a Sugar Hill Elementary School 4th-grader, was recognized for her First Place art entry celebrating &#34;Agriculture - Kee America Moving.&#34;
