New GDOT Traffic Operations Manager

GAINESVILLE - A Rabun County man is the new Traffic Operations Manager for the Gainesville state Department of Transportation office (GDOT).<br> <br> Danny Shook of Clayton began his career with GDOT in 1977 and most recently served as District Signal Engineer.<br> <br> Working for GDOT runs in the Shook family. His father worked for the department 34 years, an uncle was with GDOT 30 years and a sister and son also work for the department - the son for the past two years as a summer employee.<br>
