Life University to bring back Christmas lights

<p>Life University is Marietta is bringing back the Christmas lights.</p><p>School officials announced yesterday the decision to bring back the popular "Lights of Life" this holiday season. The show begins November 21st at the chiropratic college.</p><p>The school did NOT put up the display last year because of financial concerns.</p><p>The future of the holiday tradition was put in jeopardy in 2002 when the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools pulled its accreditation of Life's chiropractic program, citing huge debt.</p><p>For two years, the school continued "Lights of Life" with the help of corporate sponsors and donations. The association released the school from academic probation in 2004.</p><p>Last year school leaders canceled the light show, saying they needed to continue to improve the institution's finances and enrollement.</p><p>Now in its sixteenth year, the show features about two (m) million lights in displays along a two-point-five mile route through campus. Admission is free, but donations are accepted to help defray $350,000 in operating expenses.</p>
