FLOWERY BRANCH - The Atlanta Falcons, in conjunction with Infinity Broadcasting, Tuesday announced Jeff Hullinger, Jeff Van Note and Chuck Smith will form a three-person booth for Falcons games on Z-93 (WZGC 92.9 FM) for the 2003 season.

WDUN Newstalk 550-AM also carries all Falcons games during the season.

"The goal is to deliver the best broadcast in the NFL," said Atlanta Falcons Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales Dick Sullivan. "Van Note, Hullinger, and Smith's broadcasting experience, combined with their vast knowledge of the game and the history of the Falcons, bring fans in depth coverage."

Hullinger enters his sixth season as "Voice of the Falcons". He is also one of ESPN's frontline play-by-play announcers for college football. Hullinger has spent 19 years in Atlanta sports broadcasting, collecting 14 regional Emmy Awards.

Hullinger, along with broadcast partner, Van Note, were named the best play-by-play team in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Associated Press three of the last four years.

Van Note, who will be the lead color analyst for the broadcasts, enters his 13th season in the Falcons' broadcast booth. Van Note has also covered the Tennessee Oilers, Kentucky college football, the Southeastern Conference Championship Game, the Peach Bowl and Southern Conference football.

Van Note is an 18-year NFL veteran who spent his entire pro career in Atlanta. He holds the record for the 11th longest playing career in NFL history and the second longest with one team.

Smith, who enters his first year as a team broadcaster, completes the three-man booth and will add additional commentary to the broadcasts. He also serves as the co-host and sports director for the syndicated Frank Ski Morning Show on V-103 (WVEE 103.3 FM) and hosts "On the Road with Big Chuck Smith" which airs weekly on Comcast Cable Network/Charter Sports. Smith, a defensive end, played his pro career with the Atlanta Falcons from 1992-1999.
