Grand-Pierre dealt to Atlanta for future considerations

<p>The Columbus Blue Jackets dealt one of the franchises original players, right wing/defenseman Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre, to the Atlanta Thrashers on Wednesday for future considerations.</p><p>Grand-Pierre, 26, has appeared in 16 games with Columbus this season, posting 12 penalty minutes and 15 shots on goal. He also has played four games for the Blue Jackets American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse.</p><p>Grand-Pierre was acquired from Buffalo before the Blue Jackets inaugural season in 2000-2001. He has four goals, 11 assists and 271 penalty minutes in 229 career NHL games.</p>
