LOCK HAVEN, PENNSYLVANIA - A former Lock Haven University football player has been arrested in Georgia on murder and kidnapping charges. <br>

Fabian Desmond Smart, of Clyo, Georgia, was arrested yesterday at the lawn-care company where he worked. <br>
<br>
Smart and Willie Marvin Williams Junior, of Philadelphia, have been charged with murder, kidnapping and conspiracy in the death of 21-year-old Jason McMann. <br>
<br>
According to court documents, Smart and McMann, both 24-years-old, got into a fight with McMann on January 22, 1999. McMann was severely beaten. <br>
<br>
Authorities say Smart and Williams returned to the scene, put McMann into the trunk of Smart's car, drove to a secluded spot and beat McMann with a gun and a branch and left him. <br>
<br>
The murder was profiled on the television show ``America's Most Wanted.''
