The Hall County Sheriff's Department is continuing an investigation into the bashing of twelve mailboxes Tuesday night in north Hall County.

Residents of Highland Road and Shirley Road started calling authorities shortly after 9 PM to report crushed mailboxes.

Captain Ed Barfield says the Department has two suspects.

"We do have two suspects. They are ages 17 and 18. They were possibly driving and SUV, maybe a Range Rover."

Barfield says neighborhood residents reported seeing the two suspects in the S-U-V at the time of the bashings.

"The mailboxes were struck by something similar to a baseball bat, large stick, or a pipe or something of that nature."

The incident is currently under investigation.
