Jewell Pauline Holtzclaw

Obituary Date: Sunday, January 6, 2019

Jewell Pauline Holtzclaw, was born on August 3, 1933. She entered Heaven’s Gates on January 6, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Zachary Holtzclaw and Rev. Joshua Olson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born in Hollingsworth, GA Jewell was the daughter of the late Verse and Lessie Brock Simmons. She retired from the Hall County School System. Mrs. Holtzclaw was a member of Community Baptist Church for 68 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holtzclaw is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, the love of her life, Hershel Holtzclaw.

Mrs. Holtzclaw is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah and Collin Lui of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Scott and Jeanine Holtzclaw of Talmo; sister, Josephine Carroll of Clermont; brothers, Bobby Simmons of Cleveland, Ray Simmons of Gainesville; 3 grandchildren, Kacie Landers (Jordan), Zachary Holtzclaw (Amanda), Joshua Olson (Kim); 6 great grandchildren, Hunter Holtzclaw, Lottie Landers, Emma Holtzclaw, Harbor Landers, Brody Olson and Sarah Grace Olson.
