Pilan Elaine Jones

Obituary Date: Friday, November 30, 2018

Ms Pilan Elaine Jones was born in Gainesville GA on March 19, 1976 to Sharon (Dwight) Goss and Clarence (Charrie) Jones. She was a graduate of East Hall High School and Lanier Technical College where she received an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. She loved the Lord and served faithfully at St Paul United Methodist Church. She was a devoted teacher at the St Paul Enrichment program for the last four years and other daycare centers throughout the Hall County community. 

Pilan was preceded in death by her two daughters Izley and Zamiya Bonds and her Grandparents. 

Morning and surviving her loss are: her son, Zion Cheeks, mother Sharon (Dwight) Goss and Clarence (Charrie) Jones, sister Typhanie (Alvis) Ansley, brothers Dwight “Champ” Goss Jr, Paul “PJ” Jones, Trent Goss and Quincy (Timeka) Brownlee, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Special friends: Marcellous Moon and Heather Borders 

She was well loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be greatly missed. 

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Paul United Methodists Church, 705 Summit Street, Gainesville, GA 30501 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at St. Paul United Methodists Church between the hours of 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
