Eugene Myers

Mr. Eugene Myers, 72, of Clermont passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Lee and Rev. Edward Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Wauka Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 1, 1946 in Clermont, GA he was the son of the late Jesse James Myers and Estelle Abernathy Myers Lee. Mr. Myers was self-employed in the construction business. He was a Member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Myers is preceded in death by his sister, Stella Smith and brother, William Abernathy.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Linda A. Myers of Clermont;  sisters, Jessie Mae Murphy of Clermont, Marie Gailey of Cleveland, Kathy Seymour of Clermont; brother and sister in law, James and Linda Myers of Murrayville; step brothers, Tommy Lee, Raymond Lee, Teddy Lee all of Clermont and a number of other relatives.
