Dr. Robert Taggart Ervin BOLEN Sr.

Dr. Robert Taggart Ervin Bolen Sr., age 64, of Dacula passed away September 20, 2018. A native of Greenwood, SC, he used the gift God gave him to joyfully and enthusiastically minister to people by providing Chiropractic care to the Lawrenceville area for 39 years. In addition to his chiropractic service, the ways in which he served his community, church and family are countless. Preceded by parents Dr. Ryan Claude Bolen, Sr. and Jennie Faye Ervin Bolen, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dwane Ellis Bolen; children, Anna Abernathy, Taggart Bolen, Austin Bolen, Melanie Bolen; grandchildren, Tripp Bolen, Addison Hope Bolen, Lilly Abernathy, Garrett Abernathy, Victor Abernathy, Leo Carson Bolen; and siblings, Rev. Steve Bolen, Bo Bolen, and Ryanna Harbit. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.at Flanigan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at 12 Stone Church, Hamilton Mill Branch located at 3858 Braselton Hwy, Buford, GA 30519 with Rev. Steve Walton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse or to Joyce Meyer Ministries in memory of Dr. Robert Bolen.
