Dolores “Dee” Stephens Souviron

Dolores “Dee” Stephens Souviron, age 80, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Katelyn Schlager, and great granddaughter, McKenna Gundersen. Mrs. Souviron is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Carl H. Souviron, Buford, GA; children, Gregory Carl and Kathy Souviron, Reno, NV, and Tina Marie and Jeffrey Schlager, Peachtree Corners, GA; grandchildren, Jessica and Jeffery Garrity, Kimberly Schlager, Hallie Souviron, Melissa and John Gundersen; brother and sister-in-law, William “Bill” and Caroline Souviron; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Souviron was born on March 6, 1938 in Miami, FL. She was a 1956 graduate of Miami High School, and attended Florida State University. Mrs. Souviron worked for United Cerebral Palsy for four years, in addition to doing other jobs. She did prenuptial counseling along with her husband Carl.  She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. Mrs. Souviron had a great sense of humor, and was a friend to everyone. She was loved by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Eric Hill officiating. A visitation and reception will be held following Mass.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church in memory of Delores “Dee” Souviron.
