Janie Ruth McClain McGahee

Mrs. Janie Ruth McClain McGahee age 93 of Toccoa passed away Friday September 7, 2018 at The Clary Center.

A daughter of the late Hoyt and Lillie Mullinax McClain, she was born April 25, 1925 in Franklin County, Georgia having living most of her life in Stephens. She retired from Coats and Clark with 35 years of service. A member of 1st United Methodist Church and attended the Good Sam Club. She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn McGahee in 2001 and seven siblings.                                  .

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Ricky Cobb of Toccoa, Elaine and Terry Cash of Carnesville, and Dana Walker of Toccoa, six grandchildren Tim Caudell, Vanessa Cleveland, Brandon Cobb, Cassie Jordan, Tyson Cash, and Tanner Taylor, and eight great-grandchildren Brayden, Blake, Bailey, Westin, Kylie, Caden, Jameson, and Cohen and a brother and sister-in-law Joe and Carol McClain of Carnesville.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 10, 2018 at 4 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Dwain Eller and Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress officiating. The family will be at the home of Cathy and Ricky Cobb 79 Lovell Circle, Toccoa Georgia. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Tim Caudell, Brandon Cobb, Tyson Cash, Tanner Taylor, Weston Looney, Brayden Looney, Blake Caudell, and Bailey Jordan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cayden Jordan, Cohen Jordan and Jameson Looney

Interment will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens
