Harold Dean Long

Harold Dean Long, age 79, of Cumming, GA., passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018. He was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church. He was a member and worked for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 926 for many years. Harold will be missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ferell and Mariam Long; and grandson, Evan Loggins.

He is Survived by his loving wife, Edna Long; children, Eddie (Donna) Loggins, Cathy (Ralph) Sams, Aubrey (Lisa) Long, Darrell Long, and William (Samantha) Long; grandchildren, Scott Sams, Brittany Turner, Erin Loggins, Justin Adriance, Isaiah Bailey, Kaitlyn Bailey, and Rhys Bailey; great grandchildren, Thomas Sams, Emily Sams, Isaac Rayner, and Layla Rayner; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Long will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
