Bernard Williams, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Williams and Mary Elizabeth Brown Williams; and several brothers and sisters. Mr. Williams is survived by his caregiver Charlotte Anderson, Buford, GA; first cousin, Reuben Davis, Cleveland, GA; nieces, Dorothy Bradford Gleason (John), Monroe, GA, Mary Ann Klarman, Conyers, GA, Elise Scruggs Beavers, Toccoa, GA, Louise Knight, Braselton, GA; nephews, Tommy Scruggs (Helen), Braselton, GA, Ronald Scruggs, Toccoa, GA, Mickey Scruggs, Gainesville, GA; and several cousins. Mr. Williams was born on September 4, 1930 in Buford, GA. He was a refined laborer of Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, and his dog Sebastian. A graveside service will be held on Sunday July 22, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 22^nd from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
