Lottie Porter White

Lottie Porter White, age 81, of Social Circle, GA and formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Harold White; parents, Freeman and Nellie Puckett Porter; sister, Gwinnell Porter Hinton; and great granddaughter, Savannah Lynch. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Ray and Pam White, Buford, GA and Harold David and Anita White, Lula, GA; four grandchildren, Michael White, Lawrenceville, GA, Kimberly and Danny Adamson, Winder, GA, Joshua and Melissa White, Commerce, GA, and Jacob and Deb White, Danielsville, GA; five great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Porter Knight, Lawrenceville, GA and Martha Porter Pugh, Cleveland, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Lamar and Lois Porter, Lula, GA; brother-in-law, Winford Carlyle, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. White was born on June 13, 1936 in Gwinnett County, GA. She received her G.E.D. and she operated Aunt Lottie Child Care for twenty years. Mrs. White enjoyed playing bingo at Kroger, and she was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 at the funeral home.
