Howard W. Amos

Howard W. Amos, age 96, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Tomlinson Amos. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Overfield-Greene and Jeff Greene, Lawrenceville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Randy Foster and Judy Lindstrom, Glendale, AZ; four grandchildren, Thomas and Allison Overfield, April and Ronald Fulgham, Sammantha Greene and Eric and Michelle Lindstrom; great grandchildren, Ronald Fulgham, III, Mary Fulgham and Kasey Hendrix; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Amos was born July 1, 1921 in Baltimore, MD. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp having served in World War II and retired from TelPlus, Inc. as an operations manager. Mr. Amos resided in Lanier Village in Gainesville, GA for the past twelve years.  

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lanier Village Estates Chapel in Gainesville, GA with Dr. Richard Evans officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, GA with Rev. C. Kay Fuino officiating and with military honors.
