Graduated West Chester University with B.S. Special Education K-12 Summa Cum Laude, President and CEO of Minds in Motion Institute

A loving wife, and encouraging mother and a child of the Most High God went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24th, 2018.  

Barbara demonstrated sincere compassion for the individuals who were not esteemed by society.  So much so, that is why she chose a career in special education and neurodevelopment.  

Barbara had much success in her ministry to students and their families not because of her skill in neurodevelopment but her love and compassion for them.

Hosting an event or a meal in her home was her great JOY.  She thrive with people and a stranger to her was potential friend…  You never knew what would be the main dish at the meal but you could be sure an organic salad with fruit and nuts was going to be served.  She would prepare the meal with love to serve others.

Barbara’s pride and joy was her husband and her three sons and her two new daughters and two grandsons.  She understood the emotional makeup of her family like a highly skill surgeon and was always probing “How are you really doing?”  That at times wrought defensiveness but most times comfort, loving concern and healing…

Barbara is on her new adventure with no pain or tears and she is waiting for all her family to join her in the dance in Heaven.
Visitation is at Dahlonega Funeral Home, Saturday, March 3rd from 11:00 am -1:00 pm with a service following there at one o’clock.
