Cruz Velasquez

Cruz Velasquez, 64, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Reynaldo Noble officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 3, 1954 in Nueva Leon Mexico he was the son of the late Alberto Velasquez and of Rosa Chaires. He was employed in the construction industry.

Mr. Velasquez is survived by his wife, Maria Compean; son Francisco Velasquez; daughter, Yolanda Velazquez; son, Cruz Velazquez, Jr. ; daughter, Juanita Velazquez; son, Benito Velazquez; son, Elias Velazquez; daughter,  Laura Velazquez; mother, Rosa Chaires.
