Paul Curtis Whitworth

Mr. Paul Curtis Whitworth, age 42 of 92 Branch Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at his residence.

A son of Audrey Hulsey Whitworth and the late Reverend James Whitworth, he was born January 13, 1975 in Stephens County, Georgia. He was a graduate of Stephens County High School, employed with Robertson Furniture Company, a Certified Fire Fighter and a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, the Reverend James Whitworth, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oren Hulsey and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Whitworth.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey Hulsey Whitworth of Eastanollee; wife of the home, Amanda Crain; two daughters, Emily Ingram and Sarah Ingram; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Whitworth of Eastanollee; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and John Lyons of Jacksonville, Florida; nieces and nephews, James, Emma, Kate, Ceili, Jake and Arwen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 11 O’clock a.m. at Hill Street Baptist Church with The Reverend Paul Garrison and The Reverend David Ritcey officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Avery McEntyre, Wayne Poole, Jeremy Poole, Casey Brock, David Emanuel and Jamey Gettys.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Paul Curtis Whitworth.
