Sybil Earle Alexander Franks

Mrs. Sybil Earle Alexander Franks, age 87 of Carnesville died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Kindred Hospice at Piedmont Athens Regional.  Mrs. Franks was born in Alabama to the late, Leland Harrell and Pearl Reid Alexander, Sr.  Mrs. Franks was retired from First Commerce Bank and was a member of Bold Spring United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franks was also preceded in death by her husband, John Edward “Buddy” Franks and daughter, Bonnie Lynn Franks.

Mrs. Franks is survived by her son, Russell Franks (Helen) of Carnesville; grandson, Kyle Franks of Carnesville; and brothers, Leland Harrell Alexander, Jr. of Palmetto and James Arthur Alexander of Valdosta.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 18^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Evans officiating with the interment following in Bold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5-7 PM.
