Teresa Walters Woods

Mrs. Teresa Walters Woods age 55 of Homer passed away on Monday October 02, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday October 05, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Reverend Terry Smith and Reverend Elizabeth Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 04, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woods was born on May 13, 1962 in Lexington, North Carolina to the late Jerry Walters and Louise Meers Walters. She was a C.F.O for Conditioned Air Systems and she attended First Baptist Church of Commerce. She is preceded in death by her parents.

          Teresa is survived by her husband, Danny Woods of Homer, daughter and son-in-law, Janet Woods Martin (Jason) of Commerce, daughter, Haleigh Walters Woods of Homer, son and daughter-in-law, Danny Bryan Woods (Mindy Lynn) of Commerce, grandchildren, Noah Woods, Kaylee Martin, McKenzie Woods, Jacob Woods, and Aubrey Martin, sister, Tamara Shaw of Homer, sister and brother-in-law, Trina Ledford (Frank) of Gainesville, brother, Tony Walters of Lexington, North Carolina, brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy Walters (Debbie) of Lexington, North Carolina, Ted Walters (Jennifer) of Lexington, North Carolina,  and brother Tracy Walters of Gainesville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
