Hazel D. Bryant

Hazel D. Bryant, age 81, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Monday, July 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-one years, Kenneth Bryant; She’s being reunited with loved ones she has not seen in a longtime. She is survived by her children, James “Jim” Bryant, Rockford, IL, Kathy Renee Humphries and husband, Steve, Johnson City, TN, Paula Gayle Forrester and husband, Jeff, Flowery Brqanch, GA; six grandchildren, Venita and Jason Payne, Christopher Henderson, Stephen and Amanda Henderson, Tiffany Forrester, Blake and Mikayla Forrester, and Stephanie and Gary Harrison; six great grandchildren, Lauren, Mayson, Corey, Travis, Henry, Ryan; sister, Era Williams, Miami, FL; sister-in-law, Wanda and Ralph Crumbley, Gray, GA; brother-in-law, Larry Bryant, Cumming, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Bryant was born June 6, 1936 in Buford, GA. She received her education at Sugar Hill High School and also attended Lindsey Hopkins in Miami, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of Buford Chapter 317 of Eastern Star, former Mother Advisor of Charity Assembly 1 ORG #37. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church Worship Center with Pastor Lonnie Fenton and Rev. Jerry Meredith officiating. Visitation will be in the atrium of the Main Worship Center at Sugar Hill United Methodist Church on Friday Evening, July 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sugar Hill United Methodist Church Summer Sack Lunch Program, 4600 Nelson Brogdon Blvd., Sugar Hill, GA 30518 in memory of Hazel D. Bryant.
