Jack Shirley

Jack Shirley, 61, of Cumming passed away suddenly Thursday, July 6, 2017.  A loving husband, father, son, proud grandfather, and brother, Jack enjoyed helping others.  He was a proud veteran the U.S. Navy.  After his military service, Jack worked with AT&T, retiring after 32 years of service.  He is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Shirley who passed away in 2012; his father, David Shirley and a brother, Ronald Shirley.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mary Shirley; son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Jacquelyn Shirley; all of Cumming; mother, Mary Tate Shirley of Luverne, AL; grandchildren, Griffin, Hunter, Madison and Harper Lynn Shirley; brothers, Kenneth Shirley of Luverne, AL, Wayne Shirley of Prattville, AL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Monday, July 10, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
