Mary W. Martin, age 86, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. She was a Sunday school teacher, Bible School teacher and a Girl Scout leader. Mary is the last child of six. She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Vic Wheeler, and husband, Herman Martin.
She is survived by her children, Vickie and Joel Conison of Decatur, GA; Scott and Glendy Martin of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Erin Goodrum, Tyler and Mallory Martin; great grandchildren, Breyden and Lexie Goodrum.
Graveside services for Mrs. Martin will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
