Leroy Oliver

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church for Leroy Oliver, age 66 of Gainesville. The Rev. Brian Funderburk will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Masonic and Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Oliver passed away Friday May 26, 2017.

Mr. Oliver was born in Hall County to the late Walter B. Oliver and Sally R. Morris Harris Oliver. He served in the U.S. Navy in Cambodia in 1969 and U.S. Army Reserve from 1971-1985. He was a member of the Clermont Masonic Lodge #512 F&AM, where he was the longtime secretary and was a member of the Yaarab Shriners. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Oliver. 

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Brian Williams, Skagway, AK, soon to be born grandson, Tyler Williams, sister-in-law, Susan Gerth, Gainesville, brother, Enoch Harris, Gainesville, nephew, Timmy Harris, Gainesville, beloved bulldog, Harleigh and a multitude of friends.
