James Edward Randolph

James Edward Randolph, age 70, affectionately known as "Papoose" was born April 16, 1947 to the late Mr. Willie Gene Randolph and Dora Randolph. He departed this life Friday, May 5, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Evelyn Williams. James served his country faithfully for four years serving in the United States Navy from 1966 - 1969. He married Cynthia O'Hara in 1969. She was faithful and dutiful wife, never leaving his side.

James is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Randolph, daughters Jewel (Wesley) Hunt, Dawn (Marc) Young, one son Dionne Randolph, brother and best friend Milton (Gussie) Randolph; sisters Dora Nell Cantrell and Charrie (Paul) Jones, two special nephews: Torrey Williams and Myron Williams and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 11,2017 at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1:00PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
