Gregory Larry Franklin

Mr. Gregory Larry Franklin, age 64 of 478 Cedar Lane, Toccoa passed away May 3, 2017 at Hospice Atlanta at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
 
A son of the late Ralph and Joan Franklin, he was born November 18, 1952 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a graduate of Toccoa High School and Piedmont College.  He was retired from Georgia Department of Family and Children’s Services and was a member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church. 
 
Survivors include the mother of his daughter, Kathy King Franklin of Toccoa; daughter, Allyson Franklin of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Veronica and Bob Bowen of Clarkesville, Georgia; niece, Katie Bowen and her husband, Matthew Rash and nephew, David Bowen.
 
Funeral services will be Monday, May 8, 2017, 11 O’clock A.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
 
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 10 A.M. until the service time.
