Edna Mozelle Tanner Dale

Funeral services are scheduled for Wed, 22 March at 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Dale, 93, of 2860 Atlanta Highway, Gainesville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, 21 March.

Edna and her husband, Gene, believed Georgia to be the best place on earth. Ever busy in the home and the garden, she always welcomed visits from her family and friends supporting them in any way possible. A firm optimist, she always found the brighter side to life. She was a treasure and will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Eugene (Gene) Dale; her daughter Sherryl Waterman of Colorado Springs; and her sisters, Lois Wallis, Myra Lee Scarborough, Lounette Tanner and Lucille Lott.

Surviving children are Ronald Dale and his wife, Linda, of Winter Park, FLA.; Evette Dale, and her husband, Olaf Kruger, of Melbourne, Australia. Other family members are her son-in-law, Robert Waterman, of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Elizabeth Dale, Marnie Ragan, Gabe Waterman, Adam Waterman, Emily Glenn and Alex Waterman; and, great grandchildren, William Isaacs, Eric Isaacs, Jonathan Isaacs, Benjamin Waterman, Andrew Waterman, Joshua Waterman, Logan Glenn, Ellie Glenn and David Ragan and Alexandra Ragan.

Very special thanks to Vera Dover, longtime friend and carer. Also to her caregivers at The Waterford of Oakwood and NE Georgia Medical Center.

Donations to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (2150 Limestone Pkwy, Gainesville GA 30501) may be made in lieu of flowers.
