William H. Steele

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William H. Steele, age 76 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Tuesday, January 31, 2017.  Mr. Steele was born in Chattaroy, West Virginia, the son of the late James Steele, Sr. and the late Lucy Robertson Steele, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Virginia and attended Academy Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia.  Mr. Steele was a Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a retired Line Technician with the Utility of Colombia Gas Corporation.

Mr. Steele is survived by his wife, Loretta Starr Steele of Jefferson, a son Christopher Steele, and his wife Christy of Dacula Georgia, and a grandson, Damon Steele.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
