Johnny Maurice Taylor

Johnny Maurice Taylor, 57 of Dahlonega, GA passed Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Hall County, May 24, 1959, Mr. Taylor was a truck driver for Tony Cook Trucking.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Evelyn Taylor, Dahlonega; sons, Johnathan Taylor, Dahlonega; Jason Taylor, Gainesville; grandchildren, Hannah Taylor and Darrell Taylor;  parents, James and Judy Taylor, Dahlonega; sister, Lynn Lenderman (Gregg), Dahlonega; brothers, Jerry Taylor (Becky), Flowery Branch; Joey Taylor (Tracey), Gainesville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday January 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.
