Charles Michael Blackwell

Mr. Charles Michael Blackwell, age 58 of 2201 Ridgeland Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence.

A son of the late Charles Ernest and Lillian Caron Blackwell, he was born May 4, 1958 in Augsburg, Germany having lived most of his life in Stephens County.  He was a Desert Storm Veteran of the U.S. Army, 82^nd Airborne and was employed with Patterson Pump.  In additional to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Blackwell.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Debbie Dickson Blackwell; two daughters and son-in-law, Kayla and Tommy Luchard of Eastanollee and Kimberly Blackwell of Carnesville; father-in-law, David Dickson of Eastanollee; six grandchildren, Kaylyn, Jada, Baylee, Cyrus, Taylor and Aaden; brother, Rene` Blackwell of Gainesville; two sisters, Linda Harvell of Augusta and Shari Jordan of Texas.

Graveside services will be Saturday, September 17, 11 O’clock at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Doug Dickson officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Michael Wilson, Tommy Luchard and Jason McCrackin.

The family will be at the home on Ridgeland Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 AM until 10:30. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will be in the Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346.  Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Michael Blackwell.
