Col. Harold V. Kelley, Jr.

Col. Harold V. Kelley, Jr., 69, of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. He was born in Lawrenceville, GA on March 12, 1947 to Harold V. and Frances L. Kelley Sr.  He was a graduate of North Georgia Military College, class of 1969 and retired as a Colonel from the United States Army after 25 years, in 1994. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold V. Kelley Sr. and grandparents, Dr. Daniel Claude Kelley M.D and Mary Lou McDaniel Kelley.

Harold is survived by his wife of 25 years, Diane F. Kelley; mother, Frances L. Kelley, brother and sister-in-law Dana and Krystyn Kelley; children, Kimberly L. Kelley, Kevin D. Kelley and wife Millie R. Kelley, step-son, Nick S. Carter; grandchildren, Meredith E. Cates, Camilla M. Carter, Bryce D. Kelley, and Paige A. Kelley. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Graveside Services with full military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 16, at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
