Funeral services for Patricia Irene “Patti” Olmsted Patterson, age 70, of Clarkesville, will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Dr. Craig Ward will officiate with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Tampa, Florida on September 18, 1945, Mrs. Patterson was the daughter of the late Preston and Marjorie Wilson Olmsted. A graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL and Florida State University, Mrs. Patterson was a retired school teacher, most recently having taught at Demorest Elementary. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class, and was a former member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville for 17 years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by brother Johnny Albury.

Survivors include her husband Robert Joseph “Bob” Patterson of Clarkesville, daughters and sons-in-law Erin and Ryan Pritchard of Braselton and Gwen and Jamie Wetherton of Baldwin, son and daughter-in-law Brent and Jackie Patterson of Gainesville, grandchildren Marvin, Jeremy, Kennedy, Trey, Makenzie, Caleb, Emma, Alexa and Kaira.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
