Jeffery B. Payne

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jeffery B. Payne, age 59 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, August 5, 2016.  Mr. Payne was born in Athens, Georgia, a son of the late Joe C. and Reba Nell Whitehead Payne.  Mr. Payne was a Folk Artist and a nature lover.  In addition to his parents Mr. Payne is preceded by a sister, Brenda Savage.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Clark of Jefferson and Sandra Nunley of Elberton.  One brother, Joe Steven Payne of Jefferson.

In accordance with Mr. Payne’s wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
