Sara Rae Dockery

Sara Rae Dockery age 76, of Cleveland passed away Sunday July 3, 2016. 

Mrs. Dockery was born in White County the daughter of the late Jody and Lula Mae Thomas.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ruth Thomas and Edith Hunt.  Mrs. Dockery was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Donald Dockery, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Nathan Palmer, Cleveland; step daughter and husband, Shirley and Donald Thomas, Cleveland; step son and wife, Randall and Deirdre Dockery, Cleveland; step son, Ronnie Dockery, Cleveland; grandchildren, Ellie Palmer, Jacob Palmer, Katelynn Palmer, David Dockery, Candace McClure; great grandchildren, Ashton Adams, Addison McClure, Aubrey McClure; sisters, Dorothy Stelmacher, Martha Grindle, Melanie Young, Shelia Simmons; brothers, James Thomas, Homer Thomas, Buddy Thomas, Sam Thomas, Mike Thomas. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday July 5, 2016 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate.  Interment will be at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
