Andrew “Ben” Poole 82, of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016.
Services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday March 29, 2016 at Timber Ridge Baptist Church, the Rev. Billy Poole and Rev. Kenneth McEntire will officiate, the family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mr. Poole was born in Gillsville, Ga. graduated from Gillsville School and was the Valedictorian, he Sang in a quartet called "The Chapeliers" for many years and worked at the Chattahoochee Country Club Golf Course. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrlon Poole and his brother Boyd Poole and sisters, Helen Hawkins and Edna McEntire.
Surviving are : Son and Daughter in law - Brian and Amy Poole, Daughter - Kathy Johnson, 2 brothers - Rev. Billy Poole and Ed Poole and a sister - Sally Miller, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
