Efren Avila-Perez, 80, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father William Canalas will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Avila-Perez was born on October 1, 1935 in Los Cerritos, Zacatecas Mexico to the later Felix Avila and Paula Perez. He was self-employed and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Efren is survived by his wife, Carmen Avila; children, Miguel, Trinidad, J. Felix, Raymundo, J. Jesus & Misael Avila, Gricelda Avila-Mejia, Elida Lopes and Efren Avila; 6 sisters.
