Joseph James (Jody) Edmonds

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 24, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Joseph James “Jody” Edmonds age 33 of Braselton. The Rev. Mike McIntyre and Dr. Mike Willliams will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Edmonds went home to be with the Lord Saturday March 19, 2016.

Mr. Edmonds was born in Gainesville on September 1, 1982. He has worked for the past 10 years for Stewart Stainless and had worked for Edmonds Auto Transport. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Jody was a true cowboy at heart and loved his horses, family and God. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Survivors include wife, Becky Edmonds, Braselton, son, Cody Lane Edmonds, Braselton, parents Harold and Linda Edmonds, Gainesville, mother-in-law and father-in-law, David and Betty Haynes, Braselton, sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Thomas Hnasko, New Jersey, life long friend, Blake Proctor and several nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
